The newest addition to the Smith Brothers family of restaurants, Cheval Blanc Bistro, has introduced to the Old Pasadena dining scene the unique beauty of traditional French bistro fare. The sprawling antique bar and dark wood paneling, calling to mind the stylings of a more genteel time, set the tone for the warmly-lit, remarkably comfortable interior. Chef Daniel Durfort, well-known from his days at La Parisienne in Monrovia, has brought Cheval Blanc—and Pasadena—an authentic taste of his native France that is not to miss.
